READ BETWEEN THE LINES: What Obama was really saying at the 2012 White House Correspondents Dinner.

What was once considered a great way to promote journalism education, the 2012 White House Correspondents Dinner (WHCD) was turned into a joke on everyone, including Obama himself.

Jimmy Kimmel’s Introduction

Jimmy Kimmel leaped to the stage  like  a joker juggling balls of fire and launching them at people in the audience for 24 long minutes.

Anybody who was anybody was knocked down in a form of deprecating humor, including Obama himself with Kimmel greeting Obama with “Shalom”  and continuing throughout his speech throwing one liners at Obama while encouraging him to legalize marijuana and urging people to not engage in a nuclear war with Iran and demoralizing Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netaynuhu.

In mostly bad humor, Jimmy Kimmel had a few good ones liners against Obama.  “Remember, when the Country rallied around in the hopes of a better tomorrow, that was hilarious. That was your best one yet.”  With Obama shaking his head up and down while mouthing the words, “I know.”  and ” There’s a term for someone like Barrack Obama, not 2 terms but…’  as well as his only insightful comment of the night where he states that America “use to march but now we occupy.”

Hot Mic Alert

During a slight pause in the momentum of the evening, Jay Carney (Obama’s Press Secretary) rushes up to the stage and speaks into the microphone asking for Obama’s microphone to be turned off because it was “hot” (aka live).

Another  momentary pause.  Obama recently had a hot mic on him when he spoke with the Russians saying that he needs more time to succumb to their demands since it is election season.

Obviously, that was an attempt to make a difficult situation during election season into a joke.  As the old saying goes, when in times of deflecting, laugh and point fingers. Obama does both exceptionally well.

“Nobody would notice.’

Tonight was no exception. Obama’s voice booms into the room before his physical arrival, singing off key and slamming celebrities attending the event with a dose of humility by bashing himself on his grayed hair with an alarming statement,  “Right now, Im like a 5 on a Just for Mens scale. I think I could go to 6 and nobody would notice.”

Oddly, this is a view that many people feel Obama acts on a Presidential day to day basis with concern to domestic and foreign affairs. Case in point- Obama’s Unconstitutional invasion into Libya without Congressional approval and violating the Wars Powers Act or slipping a government mandated health insurance clause in a 2000+ bill of Obamacare.

Obama’s jokes about his public perception.

After Obama finished making fun of himself (which, come to find out will be much needed as a forerunner to his speech)- he walks onto an American flag-less stage and proceeds to be 2 faced. Literally.  He openly and warmly greets the same people that, two minutes, he called out.   Almost everyone laughs, as if it is hilarious.

Obama then launches into the concerns with his public image and instead of correcting or even justifying his behavior, he openly mocks the concerns by “reintroducing himself to the American People” by playing upon his poor approval rating  and public perception.

Obama jokingly comments that people blame him for blaming too many of his problems on Former President Bush and then, in the next sentence, blames Former President Bush for initiating the slippery slope of blame.

The entire speech was a series of deliberate mixed matches in speech in a more than obvious display of showmanship and acting ability.

Obama’s ‘reintroducing’ himself to the White House correspondents (journalists).

While Obama  was ‘reintroducing himself’ in attempts to erase a negative image with his Presidency, Obama forcefully yet flippantly claims that his mother was born in Kansas, his father was born in Kenya and that he was born in Hawaii.  Obama’s deceptive smile while speaking and literal wink– left most of the audience laughing as if Obama was a stand up comedian in a past life.

Of course, people stop finding the humor in things when it looks like they are being ganged up on so, eventually, Obama turned the knife on himself and showed pictures of himself 4 years ago with a winning smile and a halo angelic effect and then 4 years later as a gray hair ridden downcast man (in attempts at a sympathy vote) and then in another 4 years, his looks were compared to the actor,Morgan Freeman. Which, again, resulted in laughter.

Obama jokes about the excessive and needless spending of the GSA.

Then, Obama jokes that he is a glad that the WHCD was not ran by the GSA (General Services Administrators) who was known for a lavish $830,000 price tag billed at the taxpayers expense.  Wasteful spending is not a joke and is part of the reason why our Country is in the serious financial difficulties that we are currently facing.

Backhanded compliments

Obama had a way of giving out backhanded compliments, showing his ability to twist words into genuine and warm sounding compliments.  For example, congratulating the Huffington Post for winning the Pulitzer…. for not having authentic news,  linking to other websites and having a ‘great’ business model.

Obama admits to eating dog meat

Then, in an incredibly grotesque response that even left Michelle Obama looking incredulous, Obama slams Sarah Palin asking “Whats the difference between a hockey mom and a pit bull?” with the answer being, “that pit bulls taste delicious.. with a little soy sauce” which was an obvious attempt at humor at the admittance of Obama eating dog meat in the wilderness in attempts to take on the characteristics of the poor, forsaken dog, in Obama’s book, “Dreams of My Father”.

Then in a sense at another attempt at humor on a sickening subject of Obama eating the dog with his father and in attempts to laugh at himself (thus validating, all rumors that he really did eat a dog), Obama declares, “my step father always told me that it was a boy eat dog world out there!”

It wasn’t funny the first time and its definitely not funny the second time. Where is PETA’s outcry in this horrendous act of animal cruelty?

A dash of class warfare to add to the mix

An Obama speech wouldn’t be complete without a dash of class warfare. Obama further cements Romney’s perception as a 1% thus engaging Obama in his class warfare tactics by mentioning that Romney would have bought the hotel where the dinner was being held as a ‘fixer upper’, then again when saying that due to Romney having 2 degrees from Harvard, he is classified a ‘snob’ and then again, when Obama stated that Romney went to see the newly released movie, the Hunger Games (where people brutally attack each other for corporate sponsorship) in to which Obama commented sarcastically, “I bet this was a change of pace for him” and that “I didnt see it, there was not enough class warfare (in it) for me.”

Which again, resulted in everybody rip roaring Obama-is-so-funny laughter that would pierce your heart if you heard it first hand.

Wink, wink, nudge, nudge.

Afterward, Obama mock defended himself against a  false ‘Woof PAC’,  attacking Obama for mandating a dogs right to ride on the roof of  a car,  the ‘European dog socialism’, more government handouts, more government dependency, indoctrinating our children and the left wing social agenda::: all major concerns of the American People, Obama is laughing it off with a wave of his hands, a winning smile and a wink in the eye.

Literally. Obama was winking so much at the WHCD that you would think his contact lens was dry.  Obama’s leering smile and glimmer of mischief in his eye while he tells the American People exactly what he is going to do with his 2nd term while making it sound like a joke so that the White House Correspondents know how to spin it for Obama was sickening and an obvious front on the intelligence of American People.

Obama’s admittance of a “secret agenda” during his last term in office.

Laughingly, Obama states that the Republicans think that he is going to “unleash some secret agenda for the next 4 years” in to which he leans into the microphone and says very deeply, almost demonically, “you’re absolutely right” which resulted in more laughter from the audience. How is this funny? Isn’t anybody concerned with Obama’s admittance that he has a secret agenda? Remember, behind every joke there is at least an ounce in Truth.

Then Obama jokes that with his first term, he finished the war on Iraq and with his 2nd term, his war will be on Christmas.  Is there anybody taking Obama on a literal basis or are they charmed like a snake in a basket?

Hook, line and sinker.

Will the people see through the fog and realize that Obama just admitted what his radical tendencies will look like in a 2nd term or will they take the bait- hook, line and sinker?

With all these jokes being flung about as if we were in a comedy club, one begs the question to be asked- “who is really the punchline?”

ATTENTION: 20,000 surface to air and anti tank missiles missing in Libya

Approximately 20,000 portable surface-to-air missile and Russian made anti-tank missiles as well as rifle and anti aircraft ammunition have gone missing in Libya. A couple of those weapons are explained in the graphic above. (Click on to enlarge).

After a 6 month civil war that ended Qaddafi’s 42-year rule and sent him into hiding allowed the regime’s extensive armories to be fully exposed and available to looters, former rebel fighters or anyone with a truck to carry weapons away.

Weapons that could be used to knock down military planes, helicopters or drones as well as cause destruction and damage to innocent civilians.

With the US govt unsure as to who is leading the rebels in Libya and Defense Secretary Robert Gates stating that its “very possible that Al Qaeda is leading the rebellion” and the significance impact of Hamas and Hezbollah in the area makes this matter gravely serious not only for America’s security but also for Israel’s security.

Today, the White House released a press statement saying it will boost efforts to find and destroy the weapons stockpile and last week, U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton called on Libya’s new leaders to secure the chemical weapons and convention weapons supply.

Yet at the same time, visits by The Associated Press to weapons caches around Tripoli (the capital of Libya) show that many remain poorly guarded and have already been heavily looted.

AP reported that 12 rebels wandered around one site where a large hangar was strewn with the boxes of missing weapons. Rebels at another site were leaving with a load of tank shells they said they were taking to a safe place for storage. They acknowledged, however, that they’d found the site unguarded.

At one unguarded site, Bouckaert said he found 100,000 anti-tank and anti-personnel mines. Elsewhere, he found weapons caches hidden under fruit trees.

On a positive note,  the U.N. chief weapons watchdog said Wednesday that Libya’s remaining chemical weapon stockpiles are believed to be secure but we must remain ever viligent.

Let’s pray that we find them and confiscate the weapons before they are used against us and/or our allies.

Congressional Leaders React to Obama’s Jobs Plan

  • Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV): “I have serious questions about the level of spending.”
  • Presidential Contender/Former Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-GA): “All the ideas that didn’t work with 850 billion dollars he now wants to try to get it to work with 450 billion. He has zero pay-fors. He’s got to quit being a candidate, and actually be president for awhile.”
  • Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL): “He didn’t tell us where the money is coming from.  Many of these proposals just won’t work.”
  • Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY): “This isn’t a jobs plan. It’s a re-election plan. That’s why Republicans will continue to press for policies to empower job creators, not DC. Obama’s economic policies don’t work. His jobs plan is to try these same policies again, and then accuse anyone who doesn’t support them of being political or overly partisan.”
  • Rep. Jeb Hensarling (R-TX): co-chairman of the “supercommittee” on deficit reduction: “The President wants us to find additional budget savings to pay for his $447 billion jobs plan. By asking the Joint Select Committee to increase the $1.5 trillion target to cover the full cost of his plan, the president is essentially tasking a committee designed to reduce the deficit to pay for yet another round of stimulus.”
  • Rep. Dave Camp (R-MI): Chairman, Ways and Means Committee: “We already have a difficult job trying to reduce the deficit with very little cooperation from the Democrats. Now he has given us a plan that won’t reduce the deficit by one penny. He wants us to spend more money on the same programs which have produced so few jobs.”

Obama pushing to extend payroll holday through 2012 while Social Security account drains.

On Wednesday, President Obama reiterated his push to extend the existing payroll tax holiday through 2012 – a move  objected to by members of his own party who fear the reduction in revenues will undermine Social Security.

“I think that it makes perfect sense for us to take a look at, can we extend the payroll tax, for example, an additional year,” Obama said during a lengthy press conference at the White House.

On Friday, Democratic Reps. Lloyd Doggett (Texas), Ted Deutch (Fla.) and Mark Critz (Pa.) sent a letter to all House Democrats saying the proposed extension “should trouble all who care about preserving” the funding stream for Social Security.

“Social Security’s popularity comes from the direct contributions of American workers, who pay into the system now and benefit when they retire or become disabled,” the lawmakers wrote.

“Unless and until faith in Social Security has been restored to the American people through long-range solvency, short-sighted cuts to the program’s revenue stream must not be part of any debt ceiling or budget deal.”

The letter is also being distributed to select House Republicans, Deutch spokeswoman Ashley Mushnick said Wednesday. The Democrats are also readying a similar letter to send to Obama.

While the cut is just 2 percentage points – from 6.2 percent to 4.2 percent – it represents a real payroll tax reduction of 32 percent.

For instance, a worker currently earning $100,000 should have paid $6,200 in payroll taxes for 2010 wages, but will pay only $4,200 for earnings this year.

A difference of $2,000 that will not be circulated into the Social Security account.

The Congressional Budget Office estimates the cut will reduce federal revenues by $112 billion over the next two years.

Since the tax package is not offset by changes elsewhere in the budget, the government will have to borrow to fill that hole in the Social Security trust fund.

Social Security is already at a loss. It is clear that more people will be drawing on funds that are not available.

We cannot afford to draw down from Social Security even more. We must find other ways of revitalizing our economy without kicking the Baby Booming generation in the teeth.

In deficit reduction talks, Senate Democrats derail and insist on increasing spending & taxes.

In today’s deficit cutting talks with Vice President Joe Biden; Democrat representatives stated that they felt the way to fix the problem was to increase spending and subsequently increase taxes.

Does anybody else see the conundrum that the Republicans are having to deal with?

We are $14.3 trillion+ in debt that needs to be agreed upon by August 2 (less than a month away) or at we risk defaulting on our debts.

If we do not make some serious cutting, start creating jobs and selling more exports; we are going to have a serious problem balancing the budget.

It is at this point that we need to be CUTTING; not INCREASING spending.

Is Vice President Biden and his debt group really that oblivious to the will of the American people?

Are the Democrats really surprised that the Republicans walked out of deficit cutting talks?

How can you argue a concept of cutting spending when the other side wants to spend more money?

Its a waste of time and unbelievable that the Democrats would adopt this line of thought.

Even though, it is not technically “his job” Obama, as President, should get involved considering the severity of our situation.

According to my sources on Capitol Hill; the only involvement Obama is doing is “looking for a meeting room”.  Literally.

The game plan was to have deficit reduction talks completed by the end of June. That’s only 7 days from now.

Senator John Cornyn of Texas, a Republican leader, also agrees that President Obama needs to get directly involved.

“It’s clear that these were non-serious negotiations and the only time it’s going to get serious is when the president of the United States becomes thoroughly engaged,” Cornyn said. “There’s not going to be a deal without his direct involvement.”

Flashback to the 2011 Compromised Budget talk delays. The only time serious progress was made was when Obama was involved so he could push the Democrats to be reasonable.  It is obvious that Obama is needed in this case.

Deja vu seem to fall upon my ears as I heard Kentucky Republican Mitch McConnell ask of Obama once again, “Where is he?” What does he propose? What is he willing to do to reduce the debt and to avoid this crisis that’s building on his watch? He’s the one in charge. I think most Americans think it’s about time he started acting like it.”

Raising the Debt Ceiling and increasing spending; Contradictory?

It is imperative that we cut trillions of dollars from our $14.3+ trillion debt and NOT increase spending.

You cannot spend your way out of a recession.

The Democrats fail to understand the generic cutting mindset as the “Democrats continue to insist that any deal must include tax increases,” said Eric Cantor, a Virginia Republican, in a statement announcing his decision. “There is not support in the House for a tax increase.”

The tax issue must be resolved before discussions can continue,” Cantor said. “Given this impasse, I will not be participating in today’s meeting and I believe it is time for the president to speak clearly and resolve the tax issue. Once the tax issue is resolved, we have a blueprint to move forward to trillions of spending cuts and binding mechanisms to change the way things are done around here.”

Note to the Democrats: Your constituents want you to cut spending.  You have to come to the deficit reduction talks in the mindset of “what are we cutting, today?” because if you are looking at things from an increased spending point of view; the discussion is going to be pointless and a waste of everyone’s time.

It is imperative that you understand that we cannot spend, and most certainly cannot freeze, our way out of a recession. We have less than one week until Congress is needed to make a decision on whether or not we are going to raise the debt ceiling and to determine if the US will start defaulting on our debtors. Our SP index rating already dropped to negative; let’s not fall even further into the economic hole.

Note to the Republicans:  Eliminating the subsidies and tax breaks for big oil is NOT increasing taxes. If we eliminated a lot of the money we give big oil (they are doing just fine on their own); we could give that money back to the people and small businesses through price relief at the gas pump and help jumpstart our economy.

Also, please not give in to a  payroll tax deduction as that directly drains the Social Security funds and we are already short on Social Security funds as it is.

BREAKING NEWS: Al Qaeda confirmed bin Laden’s death and antagonizes the United States.

On Friday 05/6/11, Al Qaeda confirmed bin Laden’s death while still antagonizing the United States.

According to the Associated Press, Al Qaeda posted a statement on various militant websites.

“We stress that the blood of the holy warrior sheik, Osama bin Laden, God bless him, is precious to us and to all Muslims and will not go in vain. We will remain, God willing, a curse chasing the Americans and their agents, following them outside and inside their countries.”

“Soon, God willing, their happiness will turn to sadness- their blood will be mingled with their tears.”

The statement comes after President Obama announced that the administration would not release photos of bin Laden’s body so as to not enrage the U.S.’s enemies.

The AP stressed that it could not independently verify the authenticity of the statement, but that it was posted on websites al Qaeda typically uses to post messages.

I think, honestly, that it is only a matter of time before Al Qaeda seeks revenge on the US for taking out one of their beloved leaders.

I am grateful to hear from credible sources that our defense compounds, airports and security are on alert.

However to think that Al Qaeda are going to sit back on their hands and do nothing is naive.  What is needed to be known is if Al Qaeda is organized and bold enough to make a move that would most certainly prompt yet another retailation.

Honestly, I dont feel safer then I did a day before bin Laden was captured.

Al Qaeda has not posed a credible threat to us the attack on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.

If anything,  I feel more threatened because Obama just stirred the hornet’s nest by killing and then burying bin Laden at sea (which is frowned upon in the Muslim community).

Obama’s LOW approval rate and 12 reasons to NOT re-elect him in 2012.

  • Auto/wallstreet bailout,
  • High unemployment,
  • Unconstitutional push of socialized medicine.
  • Unconstitutional war on Libya with no clear set direction or exit strategy
  • 3 yr freeze on space research while awaiting private contractors
  • Shutting down our oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico and catering to Brazil for our energy needs,
  • The push for granting illegals amnesty,
  • Taxing our higher income brackets (which spends the most disposable income)
  • Consistently bad foreign policy
  • A national debt of $14.3 trillion which is expected to double by 2020 under Obama’s budget recommendations.
  • Increase in taxes since Obama’s taken office and;
  • Outrageous gas prices

all have led to President Obama’s drastically increased disapproval rate of 53% (with 39% strongly disapproving).

Resounding and hopefully crippling  numbers to a man who is looking to seek a second term.

This proves to me that the American People are waking up and they are no longer being zombified by Obama’s flower and sunshine speeches. That people are starting to look at the “hard facts” and research Obama’s claims only to find that they, like me, are appalled at President Obama’s outright lies to the People.

Dont believe me that Obama straight out lies on television? Read this:

White House officials said this week they are not concerned about short-term polls when the president is focused on long-term solutions to big problems.

Which makes me chuckle as President Obama has NEVER concentrated on the long term solutions; which is apparent with how he plans on paying for his health care law of $2+ trillion dollars and his invasion into Libya with no clear exit strategy.

I predict that Obama’s approval rate will further drop if he continues his actions and does not take any drastic policy changes ESPECIALLY if he puts boots on the ground in Libya, stands tall in his “taxing the rich” concept and continues to spend as if he has a money tree in his backyard.

In fact there are 12 reasons as to why, as of date, President Obama should NOT be re-elected in 2012.

STRIKE 1: Auto/Wall Street bailouts

Remember when Obama PROMISED that if he could get enough money ( $85.1 billion for the auto industry and $4.6 trillion for wall street) that our unemployment rate would not go above 8%?  If so, read on.

STRIKE 2: Unemployment Rate Increase

Back in November of 2008 (when President Obama was elected), the national unemployment average was 6.5%.

Through Obama’s presidency, the unemployment rate has doubled and then some (despite his expensive attemps to scale it back) and have broken through the 2 digit mark with it national average high on January 2010 at 10.6% unemployment with other states, such as Florida’s unemployment reaching its peak at 12.1% in November 2010 and Florida is still sitting above Obama’s “dreaded” number of 8% at + 3.1 percentage points, 11.1% unemployment reported in March 2011.

STRIKE 3:  Signed an Unconstitutional Health Care bill into a law.

A 2000+ page bill that President Obama signed into law that would make major changes to health care and give people with preexisting conditions more leverage in the insurance process.

Sounds great, everyone should be entitled to health care.

However, the problem being is that this health care law is Unconstitutional as it violates Section 1, Article 10 that gives all unmentioned rights to the State to control; (those rights cannot be federally controlled).

Apparently, this disapproval of the health care law is not only in my local area but US wide with 1000+ health care waivers have been given to small business who cannot afford the regulatory process as well as,  26 (possibly 28) states filing a lawsuit against the new health care law implemented last year under Obama’s watch.

STRIKE 4:  Unconstitutional war in Libya

Speaking of Unconstitutionality, President Obama is guilty of yet another offense which qualifies him, yet again, for impeachment. When President Obama helped establish a no fly zone- he did so alone; WITHOUT Congressional approval, a violation of Section 1, Article 8 of the US Constitution that states that the President MUST get the approval of Congress before engaging in a war and, even further, must declare a war before initiating one.

Does anybody else find it ironic that President Obama was a Constitutional Law Professor yet blatantly disregards the Constitution?!

STRIKE 5: 3 yr freeze on space exploration

Over the past year, President Obama put a freeze on NASA’s spending and has retired several shuttles in an attempt to give private contractors a piece of the space funding, in an attempt of job creation. While I have no problem with private contractors competing with govt contractors; the fact of the matter is that it will take AT LEAST 3 yrs for the private contractors to come up to speed on what it takes to make it in the space industry.

STRIKE 6: Initiated a Co dependency space taxi with Russia and sitting the sidelines of the Simulated Launch to Mars.

Meanwhile, we are forced to hitch rides with Russia at $60+ million/seat and sit out on the ” Simulated Launch to Mars Training” while Russia, Europe and China worked together to further their space credentials.

Also; the $424 million satellite was launched on March 4, 2011 and promptly ended up at the bottom of the southern Pacific Ocean. (Watch video:

Besides the loss of $424 million of space hardware, Orbital Sciences is one of the private companies NASA is counting on to lift cargo to the International Space Station when the shuttles are retired. If Orbital Sciences cannot launch a satellite; how can we put our firm faith in them to launch shuttles for the next 3 years?!

STRIKE 7:  Shutting down our oil rigs in the GoM and catering to Brazil for our energy needs

Let me first state that I have been personally affected by the Deepwater Horizon oil spill in our beautiful Gulf , April 20, 2010. I have watched, with horror, as the oil kept coming and animals kept dying and our coastal communities suffered.

As many of you know, I had another Political ezine, Clearwater Perspective, where I was an investigation journalist and participated in many discussions between BP, NOAA, EPA, TransOcean and the Coast Guard. I heard the information from the source and I worked together with the leadership of all organizations to produce a plan in capping the gushing well in our beautiful Gulf of Mexico.

So, by all means, I was for additional safety measures as well as an independent drilling regulatory agency to esnure that our oil rigs were safe before they become operational.

However, I did not expect the moratorium (which, btw, didnt the Courts overturn but Obama disregarded their ruling?) to be as long as it has been NOR did I expect President Obama to make a trip to Brazil and tell them that we (the US) are going to be their biggest customers”.

To paraphrase Obama; “Let me be clear on this.” —  We are holding up our oil production in the Gulf of Mexico because we dont know if it is safe yet we are supposed to look to Mexico for gas/oil even thought Floatel Jupiter, an oil rig,  sank off the Mexican coast a couple weeks ago?  Isnt that just slightly hypocritical and setting the US up for additional oil dependency? I thought the goal was to become independent in our energy needs.

STRIKE 8: Pushing of granting illegals amnesty

Anybody remember the Democrats trying to push through the Dream Act in the middle of a lame duck session in an attempt to push it into existence? (This seems like President Obama’s modus operandi).

The purpose of the Development, Relief and Education of Alien Minors Act, also called the DREAM Act would be to provide an opportunity for illegal aliens who have been living in the U.S., an opportunity to enlist in the military or go to college which then would result in a path of US citizenship.

As a born citizen of the US, this Act concerns me as I feel that this is a slap in the face to the U.S. Justice system, the immigrants who are waiting on their VISAs to be processed, the potential for a drastic increase in population and the inability pay for all of Obama’s socialistic programs.

STRIKE 9:  Tax and Spending, all the live long day.

Was it a surprise to anyone when President Obama pushed through these highly socialistic programs yet was not willing to make hard cuts (freezes DO NOT count as true spending cuts) that we would have to offset the money from somewhere and since Obama did not want to cut, at all (his words!) – what better way to be lazy than to take the money away from the people who are prosperous.

If this isnt the laziest way I have seen to pay for Obama’s “grand ideas of ridiculousness”.

The People in the higher income bracket have earned their money- it is not mine (nor the Government)’s right to take it away. May I remind you that it is the higher income bracket that spends the majority of their disposable income (as opposed to hard pressed people who save or pay off bills with the money left over from their paycheck) which keeps our economy afloat and if we are looking to create jobs, we should not take money away from the employers.

STRIKE 9:  BAD Foreign Policy

Let’s start back with the upheavel in Egypt this year where Obama was oddly silent on supporting the protesters or if would support the Egyptian leader, Hosni Mubarack.

Many foreigners started resenting the US for not taking a stand and I feel as if we lost a lot of our support (what little we had left) of our Middle Eastern allies.

Then, on the flip side, Obama enforced a no fly zone in Libya in an effort to support the People and out Mummar Qaddafi, the Libyan leader setting up a possible WWIII.

Not too mention, that Obama did not get Congressional approval (scroll up and look STRIKE 4, “Unconstitutional War in Libya”.

Then there is always Obama’s oddly quiet stance on the other areas of Middle Eastern  and neighboring Countries upheavel such as Algeria, Iran, Yemen, Syria, Israel/Palestine, Jordan, Pakistan and Iraq (remember how Obama promised that he would start diminishing the troops in Iraq? I havent seen that happen. Have you?)

STRIKE 10: Hitting out debt limit at $14.3 trillion and growing our debt

With recent talks of the $14.3 trillion debt limit that we are expect to hit on approximately May 5/6, 2011; perhaps I should use President Obama’s words to really nail the point home.

“The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies.”

“Numbers that large are sometimes hard to understand. Some people may wonder why they matter. Here is why: This year, the Federal Government will spend $220 billion on interest. That is more money to pay interest on our national debt than we’ll spend on Medicaid and the State Children’s Health Insurance Program. That is more money to pay interest on our debt this year than we will spend on education, homeland security, transportation, and veterans benefits combined. It is more money in one year than we are likely to spend to rebuild the devastated gulf coast in a way that honors the best of America.”

“And the cost of our debt is one of the fastest growing expenses in the Federal budget. This rising debt is a hidden domestic enemy, robbing our cities and States of critical investments in infrastructure like bridges, ports, and levees; robbing our families and our children of critical investments in education and health care reform; robbing our seniors of the retirement and health security they have counted on.”

“Every dollar we pay in interest is a dollar that is not going to investment in America’s priorities.”

Senator Barack Obama
Senate Floor Speech on Public Debt
March 16, 2006

STRIKE 11: Obama acts as if money grows on trees; we cannot keep weakening the value of our dollar.

It seems that Obama does not know the mean of “true cutting” and does not realize that throwing money at a problem does not necessary solve the problem. However, Obama fails to realize this faulty line of logic and continues taxing our way to oblivion.

In 2009, President Obama  signed legislation raising taxes on cigarettes and other tobacco products  and in 2010, Obama pushed 14 new taxes on to the American peoplein the health care law.

It is true that Obama did not raise income taxes. However, if he would have had his way- he would have eliminated Bush’s tax cuts when they were set to expire last year, he said publicly that he did not like Bush’s tax cuts and thought it was the “wrong way for the economy”.

If the tax breaks would have expired, then we would have been required to pay on those additional taxes which would, essentially be a  tax increase.

Not to mention that with Obama’s proposed 2011 budget- he proposes broader unemployment taxes from businesses.

Obama’s proposal would attempt to replenish strained state unemployment-insurance trust funds by raising the amount of wages on which companies must pay unemployment taxes to $15,000, more than double the $7,000 in place since 1983 and would take effect in 2014.

STRIKE 12: Gas prices are extremely high at $5/gallon.

Back in 2009, gas prices were $2.03 – $2.47 per gallon, now gas costs are topping $5/gallon.

Granted, there were a few things that were out of President Obama’s control but it is historically proven that if the President is running for re-election; gas prices are taking into consideration.

Let’s not forget to note that when gas prices are high; food and other “luxuries” become higher because the trucks have to absorb the cost of the price at the pump.

I know, personally, I am counting down the days until 2012. The American People deserve better and I will do whatever it takes to ensure that our children inherit a world better than the one we were born into and that simply is not possible with Ohnobama as President; history speaks for itself- no teleprompter or spin needed.

Remember, come election day~

“Fool me once, shame on you.

Fool me twice, shame on me.

Barrack Hussein Obama is

crippling our Economy.”

Pass it on and help save our children from a crippling debt, having their Constitutional rights breached and having to handle weakened foreign diplomacy. Thank you! 🙂

Obama’s defensive speech for the US’s Libyan operations- “F” for Failure & Fabrication of Truth.

On March 28, 2011- President Obama took to the podium at the National Defense University in Fort McNair, Washington DC in defense of his premature actions in Libya and his “forgetfulness”  in consulting Congress before committing to air strikes and an offensive approach in Libya.

Watching Obama’s speech with a mixture of skepticism, unbelief and at this point- pure resentment for getting us involved in a battle that we have no means (personally or financially) to be a part of, I had to balk at some of President Obama’s “talking points”.

Who is Obama trying to convince that this war on Libya was a good idea- the general public or himself?

While I understood what President Obama was trying to accomplish with the freeze of $33 billion assets on Qaddafi’s regime, furthering our sanctions and imposing an arms embargo in an attempt to convince Qaddafi to stop using massive force against his people, Ive questioned from the beginning if the United States knew who they were supporting in an attempt to rid Qaddafi of his regime.

Then, out of the blue, I heard reports that the United States were going to lead an offensive air strike against Qaddafi since he violated the UN restricted “no fly zone” (another military operation that I was against from the beginning and as I said- would result in a war with Libya and her allies.)

During his defensive speech, President Obama stated, “And so nine days ago, after consulting the bipartisan leadership of Congress, I authorized military action to stop the killing and enforce UN Security Council Resolution 1973.”

Whoa, wait a second- Did President Obama just state that he consulted Congress before engaging in an offensive attack? I had to rewind the program and check the written transcripts, yes- he sure did.

That statement is a BOLD FACE LIE. President Obama DID NOT consult Congress which is why there is an uproar from people on the Right and the Left as President Obama violated Article 1, Section 8 of the US Constitution by not consulting Congress or declare war before entering Libya on the offensive.

Not that it surprises me that President Obama lied as he has a history of saying one thing and doing the other but it floored me that night as it is shameful that President Obama did not follow the US Constitution (especially since he was a Constitutional Professor, one would think he would recognize the US Constitution of its importance- especially when going into war) but he flat out lied, to the People, about how this war started.

How could he consult Congress when the Congress was not even in session?  Im still shocked that he would, so openly, try to twist the truth of the uninformed voters.

President Obama stated that we were joined by a “strong coalition” of France, the United Kingdom, Canada, Denmark, Norway, Italy, Spain, Greece, Turkey and the Arab League but were we really?

The only countries that I have seen really step up to the plate is France, Britain and the United States. In this instance, I feel that we are the “holy trinity” with the other countries in the background cheering us on.

Granted, Canada has stepped up more now that NATO is implemented and the United States will fall under Canadian Lt General Bouchard in which I am grateful. It is also true that Qatar from the Arab League has stepped up a smidgen but they are far from the leads on this offensive.

Not too mention where is the rest of the Arab League? One of the main pushes for going into the Libyan war is that the Arab League asked for our involvement but then when we got involved- they hid in the shadows. Was that their plan all along?

In an almost comical statement from our President, “It is true that America cannot use our military wherever repression occurs. And given the costs and risks of intervention, we must always measure our interests against the need for action.”-  I have to wonder if he applied that logic to the Libyan operations.

It sure doesnt seem like it as President Obama has not given a budget or financial impact report on Libya. It is known that within the first day, $100 million were spent on Tomahawk Missiles and basic overhead cost with the cost increasing exponentially, piling on top of our already massive $14.3 trillion debt.

President Obama stated, “So while I will never minimize the costs involved in military action, I am convinced that a failure to act in Libya would have carried a far greater price for America.”

I have to disagree as Defense Secretary Robert Gates stated that Libya was NOT an immediate threat. Granted, we receive 2% of our oil from Libya and we prefer Libyan oil as it is sweeter and much easier to refine so that would be a major complication but our safety was not at risk and is untruthful for Obama to continue to state otherwise.

In a confused statement, Obama proclaimed, “To be blunt, we went down that road in Iraq. Thanks to the extraordinary sacrifices of our troops and the determination of our diplomats, we are hopeful about Iraq’s future. But regime change there took eight years, thousands of American and Iraqi lives, and nearly a trillion dollars. That is not something we can afford to repeat in Libya.”

If that is the case, then why has President Obama not laid out a clear, decisive and directive plan and exit strategy? Looks like more fluff and empty statements from our “Commander in Chief” (and I use that term loosely).

Obama then stated, “I have made it clear that I will never hesitate to use our military swiftly, decisively, and unilaterally when necessary to defend our people, our homeland, our allies, and our core interests. That is why we are going after al Qaeda wherever they seek a foothold.”

What Obama is failing to grasp is that the US and her people were not “attacked” and Libya did not pose a direct threat to our safety.

Further, how can Obama state that we are going after Al Qaeda in places like Afghanistan yet are willing to take a chance in supporting them (and Obama is pushing to coordinate their command centers and arming the opposition) when Defense Secretary Robert Gates claimed that he has “not ruled out that the Libyan opposition is infiltrated with Al Qaeda”.

Who is really the enemy here? Isnt that slight hypocritical, and dangerous, on our part to blindly support the opposition without knowing who is really pulling the puppet strings and without knowing their intentions and long term plan as the Middle East is more militaristic than democracy driven.

It appears that the general consensus on Obama’s speech left the public flat, uninspired and even more skeptical of our involvement in Libya.

I dont feel that Obama made any case for our involvement other than appealing to our emotional side but I am a woman of logic, facts, financial figures and strategy.

Since he did not give any true detail on that- I give Obama a huge F for FORGETTING that the US Constitution must be followed at all times, for FABRICATING the Truth and claiming he received Congressional Approval when it is a known fact that he did not and for FAILING the American People as our President.
